Also they came into my daughter's home and removed her 3 children (2,4,7)due to a complaint of her using drugs. She did test positive for drugs, she had to be evaluated for the amount of drugs she used. CPS was told by the counselor she was not a drug user, and did not need drug rehab. She had her family meeting with CPS and they told her she would be tested again in one month and if she was clean she could have her children back,LIE # 1. they would not test her even tho she begged for it. She can only have supervised visits with her children, they cry constituency to go home. Her ex-husband was also tested he tested positive for drugs. This is the kicker, he is still allowed to have the kids as his regular OVERNIGHT weekend visits as court ordered in the divorce decree. But she can't have any contact but supervised visits, no overnight. They are totally unfair. This has been since May 2010. They gave her parenting classes to go too, which she goes, the worker came one day and told her she had missed 2 classes, LIE # 2,she missed one because she was in court, and she let the counselor know but CPS stated they had talked to the counselor and he told they she had missed, LIE # 3,the counselor stated they never talked to him...She was also given a service plan with names of Drug counselors and their numbers,to set up appointments with them but the numbers she was to call were no good. We have called the worker 5 times to try to get the correct numbers, she continues to lie about getting the correct ones. Now the worker is mad because the drug counselors haven't been contacted, and acts like it is my daughter's fault. CPS stated when we went to the family service plan meeting they would do everything they could to help her get her kids back, the biggest LIE yet. They have done everything they can to see she doesn't get her kids back. They have kissed the father's butt and stabbed her in the back. The children have never bonded with the father he is an alcoholic and a chronic drug user of all drugs. He is shacked up with the woman he left my daughter for, and she is pregnant. Ever time the worker comes she is mean and hateful, she lies constantly. Ever time the children go their fathers they come telling us how he locks them in the closet, and how he smokes pot in front of them and he gets drunk and passes out leaving them up by their selves (the girlfriend is a meth user) she will be at work. We have reported this to CPS but they have done NOTHING, the worker did say at one time they may test the kids but so far nothing. The father was ordered to pay child support he has never paid a dime. My experience with CPS from the adoption is knowing they lie to the families. I seen it over and over they did not want the mother to get her kids back because she came against them so many times she constancy spoke out how unfair they were and they had stolen her children, the more trouble she caused for CPS the more they were determined to take her children. They were placed with us for foster care than adoption.I know CPS is is good for the real cases of abuse and I thank God for them. But please someone has to stop them from destroying homes.CPS is more destructive than some families and put children in abusives homes. The state of Texas needs to do something about the system, they have been given too much authority and they are abusing it.

This came in the same day of my response above and...

This came in the same day of my response above and is but another example of CPS and the problems they cause for children and their parents. http://www.thsc.org/Categories.aspxId=AnotherCPS_Tragedy

Its one thing to have some evidence as you mention...

Its one thing to have some evidence as you mentioned from the nurse and take action and the judge who allowed this guy not to serve jail time should be removed from office. He was already not there so there was no danger. They would not allow me to feed my kids dinner first and they were starving. Instead they made me take her to a hospital to go through an invasive and painful test to check for sexual abuse when none was alledged. They put my 2 year old baby through that which traumatized us both. I was sent to general counseling (for protecting my boyfriend, they say) and once he got back all he had to do was a conversation with the lady and all was cleared up. Smooth talking jerk and liar. It seems to me that if medical records being provided would assist the agency in saving a child, what is the problem? I am not understanding how having access to a child for interview or obtaining medical records on a child could possibly cause the child being taken from the home if there were no issues. I am aware that if a child is taken from the home, ultimately it is a court that decides if the child will stay out of the home or return. We speak strongly about CPS when they have been involved with a family and after the case is closed a child dies as a result of abuse. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't. I am for anything that will assist them and could save a child that cannot protect themself. Many thousands of dollars later (and a few lost years of life due to stress) we got CPS out of our home - CPS does not need more authority whatsoever in my opinion.

Cps has way too much freedom to destroy lives and ...

Cps has way too much freedom to destroy lives and ruin any morals you have taught your children. When they go to your child's school, unannounced, call your child into a room with police officers and then proceed to ask that child all kinds of questions reguarding your private areas, and then without explanation send that child back to class confused and scared, they are out of control. They also use scare tactics and trickery to get your children to talk to them. Has anyone else been given the "oh, I sympathize with you wholeheartedly and I want to do everything I can to make you feel at ease" speach. Its amazing how quickly they do an about face and go bi-polar as soon as you say no to them for a safety plan. Talk about Jeckyl and Hyde, it was scary how angry a case worker got with me when I said no to them. i agree, this program is out of control and dangerous. Yes, i said it dangerous.
